Ms. Hain is a member of
the litigation section of Lague, Newman
& Irish. Ms. Hain practiced law for over six years in the Lansing, Michigan
area with a large Lansing firm and as an Assistant General Counsel for
Michigan State University prior to returning to Muskegon in 1999.
Ms. Hain's practice
includes general civil litigation, employment litigation, personal injury
litigation including defense of medical malpractice actions, advising
clients on employment issues, drafting employment policies, providing
training regarding employment issues, and appellate work. Ms. Hain has
extensive litigation and appellate experience in the Michigan state
and federal courts. She has represented a variety of public and private
sector clients, as well as individuals in employment, negligence, contractual,
professional malpractice and general liability matters.
Ms. Hain is admitted to practice in the Michigan state courts as well
as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts
of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Prior to obtaining her law degree from the University of Michigan, Ms.
Hain earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Hope College,
cum laude.
Ms. Hain is a member
of the American Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association and Muskegon
County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Labor and Employment
and Negligence law sections of the Michigan Bar Association.
